Nikki Moon, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor under the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors. I have a Masters in Professional Counseling and a Masters in School Counseling from Amberton University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Tyler. I was born and raised in East Texas and have lived in Texas for almost all of my life.
I have worked in public education since 2007. I was a special education counselor and a school counselor in Grand Prairie ISD and Midlothian ISD. I was also the Children’s Program Coordinator for a domestic violence shelter for women and children.
I have two wonderful children: one girl and one boy. With two kids, you can always find us at the baseball/softball fields or some other activity on the weekends.
I am passionate about helping others overcome obstacles they are facing so that they can experience a healthy and fulfilling life. I have primarily worked with children, adolescents and parents. I feel like my warm and caring personality will allow clients to feel safe as we work together on their journey.
I specialize in treating children/adolescents, clients with depression & anxiety, trauma, grief, general life stressors and transitions.
