Tina Herrera, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker who earned an MSSW from the University of Texas at Arlington. I spent 6 years working at Child Protective Services as an investigator of child abuse and neglect. I have spent 12 years working in the public schools; providing individual/group counseling, behavior management, and as a 504 coordinator.
I chose private practice because I have a desire to help others with issues that come into our lives. I believe in approaching each client individually without judgement. As a therapist, I am open, honest, and realistic.
The most important job I have is being a Mom. I spend a lot of my time on the sidelines of baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and golf; none of which I have ever played but may cheer like I know all about it.
Tina specializes in children and adolescents, behavior problems, adults, divorce, grief, family and marriage counseling, depression and anxiety, and general life stresses and stressors.
