Boasting 26 years of diverse experience, I've donned multiple hats, including higher education administration, K-12 prevention program development, adjunct professorship, mental health crisis and disaster response, and private practice. For the past 17 years, I've served as the Director of Student Affairs and Academic Affairs at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.

My unwavering goal, irrespective of the setting, is to empower clients to reach their full potential through realistic goal-setting, problem-solving skills, and coping strategies.

Jan specializes in children, adolescents, and adults. Clients with depression & anxiety, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, general life stressors, and transitions (grief, divorce, major changes in life circumstances).
