Each session is 50-60 minutes in length. Mental Health Checkup (MHC)
What's Included in the Mental Health Checkup (MHC):
- Diagnostic Assessment
- Identifying Problematic Thinking Patterns
- Psychoeducation
- Learning Coping Tools for Stressful Situations
- Much like a routine physical or dental checkup, the MHC serves as a mental health checkup for stress management and thought patterns.
The MHC consists of a single appointment, not a commitment to ongoing therapy. During this session, you establish rapport with a licensed professional, undergo assessment, receive psychoeducation, and acquire coping tools. Any follow-up appointment is at the discretion of the client. Engaging in the MHC offers valuable insights into how life events impact mental health, equipping individuals to navigate daily challenges effectively. It also forges a connection with a dedicated mental health provider for future support.
In essence, the MHC empowers proactive mental well-being care, nurturing resilience for life's challenges. While it can't prevent difficulties, it provides tools for clients to tackle them, with their mental health provider just a phone call away.

Psychological Testing and Evaluation
Psychological evaluation and testing can provide insight into traumas and experiences, and shed light on developmental, psychiatric, and/or neurocognitive vulnerabilities in children. It can identify ADHD and spectrum disorders, substance abuse, depression, and personality disorders. We provide Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations that cover aspects to discover true diagnoses and official recommendations to educational, psychological, and medical treatment teams.
